Cookie Policy
Effective Date · August 27, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how MedPath uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies. It is part of, and should be read together with, the MedPath Privacy Policy.
MedPath is operated by the HEALS Foundation.
2. Browser Storage MedPath Does Use
To provide core functionality, MedPath stores a small amount of information in your browser using the standard “local storage” and “session storage” mechanisms. This information stays in your browser, is not a cookie, and is not automatically transmitted to any third party.
All of the following is strictly necessary for the service to work:
- Sign-in token (local storage) — keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Removed when you sign out.
- Session-renewal token (local storage) — lets MedPath renew your session without asking you to re-enter your password. Removed when you sign out.
- Pending verification email (session storage) — while you are creating an account, remembers the email address you are confirming so the confirmation screen can be completed. Cleared when the tab is closed or the step is finished.
- Pending invitation (local storage) — if you follow an invitation link that requires confirming your email first, remembers that invitation so it can be applied once your email is confirmed. Cleared once the invitation is used.
Because every item above is essential to deliver a service you have requested, MedPath does not display a cookie-consent banner.
3. Analytics and Advertising
MedPath does not use third-party analytics, advertising, marketing, or social-media tracking services. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not track your activity across other websites or apps.
4. Third-Party Services
Fonts used by MedPath are served directly from MedPath and do not involve a request to a third-party font provider.
Images and documents that users upload (such as profile photos) are delivered from MedPath’s cloud storage and content-delivery provider. Retrieving these files does not set cookies in your browser.
MedPath may link to third-party websites, such as external calendar services. Those sites are governed by their own cookie and privacy policies, and MedPath is not responsible for them.
5. Managing Browser Storage
You can view and clear the information described above at any time through your browser’s settings (often found under “cookies and site data” or “storage”). Signing out of MedPath also removes the sign-in and session-renewal tokens.
Clearing this storage will sign you out and may interrupt an in-progress sign-up, but it will not otherwise affect your account.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as MedPath develops or as legal, regulatory, or operational requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and providing additional notice when appropriate.
