1. About MedPath

MedPath is a healthcare career exploration and engagement platform operated by the HEALS Foundation.

The platform is designed to help connect students, schools, educators, healthcare professionals, and healthcare organizations for educational, career exploration, speaking, mentoring, and related opportunities.

2. Eligibility

Users must provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account.

Individuals under 18 may use MedPath only in accordance with applicable law and any requirements established by their parent or legal guardian, school, school district, or participating educational organization.

Children under 13 may not independently create or use a MedPath account unless their participation is authorized in a manner permitted by applicable law.

3. User Accounts

Certain MedPath features may require an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activities conducted through your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to notify MedPath if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account.

MedPath may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, compromise platform security, or create risks for students or other users.

4. Google Sign-In

MedPath may allow users to create or access an account using Google Sign-In.

Your use of Google services remains subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy policies.

MedPath does not receive your Google password.

You may revoke MedPath’s access to your Google Account through your Google Account settings.

5. Appropriate Use

Users may not use MedPath to:

• Harass, threaten, exploit, or harm another person
• Engage in inappropriate communications with students or minors
• Misrepresent their identity, credentials, professional status, or organizational affiliation
• Collect student information for unauthorized purposes
• Advertise or solicit products or services without authorization
• Upload malicious software or interfere with platform operations
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or information
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract user information
• Violate applicable laws, regulations, school policies, or professional standards

MedPath may restrict or terminate access when necessary to protect students, users, participating organizations, or the integrity of the platform.

6. Healthcare Professionals and Organizations

Healthcare professionals and organizations participating in MedPath are responsible for accurately representing their professional credentials, employment, qualifications, and affiliations.

Participation in MedPath does not constitute an endorsement, certification, credentialing, or guarantee by MedPath or the HEALS Foundation.

Organizations and professionals interacting with students are expected to comply with applicable laws, school requirements, professional standards, safeguarding policies, and MedPath program requirements.

7. Student Safety

Protecting students is a core requirement of MedPath participation.

Users may not use MedPath to establish inappropriate relationships with minors, solicit unauthorized private communications, obtain unnecessary personal information from students, or engage in conduct inconsistent with the educational purpose of the platform.

MedPath may investigate reported misconduct and may suspend or terminate access when appropriate.

MedPath may also report suspected unlawful activity or threats to student safety to schools, parents, guardians, organizations, law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities when legally permitted or required.

8. Educational Information Only

Information available through MedPath is provided for educational and career exploration purposes.

MedPath does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, employment guarantees, academic counseling, professional licensing advice, or other professional services unless expressly identified.

Participation in a MedPath activity does not guarantee admission to an educational program, employment, certification, licensure, internship placement, mentorship, or other professional opportunity.

9. Third-Party Services and Organizations

MedPath may connect users with independent schools, healthcare organizations, healthcare professionals, educational institutions, employers, technology providers, and other third parties.

Those parties are independent from MedPath unless expressly stated otherwise.

MedPath is not responsible for third-party websites, services, programs, representations, actions, or omissions.

10. Intellectual Property

The MedPath name, branding, platform design, software, original content, and related materials are owned by or licensed to MedPath or the HEALS Foundation and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit protected MedPath materials without authorization.

11. User-Submitted Content

Users retain ownership of content they submit to MedPath.

By submitting content necessary for participation in the platform, users grant MedPath a limited right to host, process, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate and provide MedPath services.

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to submit any content they provide.

12. Privacy

Use of personal information through MedPath is governed by the MedPath Privacy Policy.

By using MedPath, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

13. Platform Availability

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update portions of MedPath at any time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the platform.

14. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, MedPath is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

The HEALS Foundation does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, reliability, or suitability of every opportunity, professional, organization, resource, or piece of information available through the platform.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedPath and the HEALS Foundation will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from use of or inability to use the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Termination

Users may stop using MedPath at any time.

MedPath may suspend or terminate access when a user violates these Terms, creates a safety or security risk, engages in unlawful conduct, or misuses the platform.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as MedPath develops.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and providing additional notice when appropriate.

Continued use of MedPath after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of MedPath will be handled in accordance with applicable Nevada and federal law.
